Smoking Angel is the name of a digital painting I made using Krita, for Instagram. The concept is simple; I was following a trend where you have various questions to answer, and corresponding physical characteristics. For example, whatever your favourite colour is will be the colour of your character's skin. I mostly did this for fun, but I ended up practicing some rendering skills in 2D art. Mostly, it was rendering and shading that I focused on, but I also practiced some composition and colour theory for the background.
